The International Geodynamics and Earth Tide Service (IGETS) is one of five services coordinated by the International Gravity Field Service (IFGS) of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG). The main objective of IGETS is to monitor temporal variations of the Earth gravity field through long‐term records from ground gravimeters, tiltmeters, strainmeters and other geodynamic sensors.
GFZ operates the global IGETS data base of worldwide high-precision superconducting gravimeter (SG) records and is responsible for running the South African Geodynamic Observatory Sutherland (SAGOS). In cooperation with GFZ Data Services, we have developed an DOI service for SG data from IGETS observatories.
